2. Pull the control lever for the abrasive material to
open the valve and start the flow of the abrasive
material (B).
Abrasive material seal
The abrasive material seal is a seal system with 2 side
seals (A), 1 front seal (B) and 1 rear brush (C). The
abrasive material seal makes sure that the abrasive
material stays in the product during operation. Refer
To install the side seals on page 12 for more
to
information about the side seals. Refer to
the front rubber seals on page 24 for more information
about the front seal.

To set correct height of the brush list seals
The brush list seals wear when you operate the product.
It is necessary adjust the height of the brush list seals at
regular intervals.
1. Loosen the 3 screws.

2. Adjust the height until the brush list seals are 1 mm/
0.04 in above the surface.
To replace
3. Tighten the 3 screws.

To install the side seals
B
The side seal system consists of 2 metal side seals, 2
rubber side seals and 2 side brushes. The metal side
seals fall out from the side seal system when you lift the
product from the surface. Install the side seals before
you operate the product.
1. Park the product on level ground.
2. Stop the product and let it become cool.
3. 1 person tilts the product rearwards until the distance
(A) is 120 mm/4.7 inch.
WARNING:
A minimum of 2 persons
are necessary for this procedure. 1 person
installs the side seals, and 1 person make
sure that the product stays in position.
