Cutting Angle Adjustment
The base 13 can be tilted up to 45° for bevel cuts.
First loosen the two clamp levers 8 on the angle
scales incline the base according to the scale and
then retighten the clamp levers 8.
There are markings for 0, 15, 30 and 45° on the rec-
tangular opening at the front of the base. These mark-
ings show where the middle of the cut line is for bevel
work (the middle position has changed due to the
base having been tilted).
Note: For mitre cuts, the cutting depth does not corre-
spond to the value indicated on the cutting depth
scale 19.
The base has been set in the factory so that it makes
an angle of exactly 90° with the blade in basic position
(zero mark on scale). If you discover a slight deviation,
it can be corrected by turning the two threaded
studs 20 slightly.
Parallel Guide
The parallel guide 11 makes possible exact cuts
along a workpiece edge or the cutting of parallel
strips.
Release star grip bolt 10, slide parallel stop 11 by the
required amount. Tighten up star grip bolt 10.

Removal:
Swing back and hold the swinging protective
guard 12. Unscrew the clamping screw 22 with the
Allen key 21.
Remove the clamping flange 23 and the saw blade.
Assembly:
Clean the motor spindle, saw blade and all clamping
parts to be mounted. Mount the clamping screw 22
with washer and the clamping flange 23. Tighten with
the Allen key 21.
Pay attention to the correct mounting position of
the mounting flange 24 and the clamping
flange 23.
Observe when assembling: The cutting direction of
the teeth (direction of arrow on the saw blade) and
the direction of rotation arrow on the protective
guard must agree.
9
Swing guard
The swing guard 12, which covers the blade, moving
back automatically when the blade is brought into the
work, at the same rate at which the saw is brought in.
When you reach the end of the cut, the swing guard
moves back by spring action to cover the blade again.
10 Eye shield
The eye shield 14 allows you to look directly at the cut
or layout line. It adjusts itself automatically to the
depth setting and prevents chips and sawdust from
flying out towards you. Even at the minimum depth cut
setting the blade is covered, thus minimizing the risk
of accidents.
