Electrical connection of the UV

> Connect the bus cable to the unit at a free con-
nector of the motor control.
NOTE: route cable away from hot objects such
as steam elements etc..
> The cable can be affixed to the back of the appli-
ance with the self-adhesive cable clips supplied.
Observe color coding of the wires.
Wrong connection can cause electric shock and
damages at the device (e. g. fan motor).
Color coding of wires:
green = Earth Ground
white = neutral
black = L1 phase
> The UV PLUS must be connected to a standard
mains in accordance with the local regulations.
> Before pulling the plug or reconnecting to the
power supply, make sure that the SelfCooking
Center or the CombiMaster Plus is switched off
to avoid that the UV starts to run.
> The UV PLUS must be protected on site with a
maximum fuse rating of 15 A.
> The UV PLUS is fitted with a cable approx. 6.5 ft
(2 m) in length with NEMA 5-15plug.
> If the power cord shall be changed, the quality of
the cord must be at least 3xAWG 14 with a 5-15
plug.
