AC Adapter Power
1. Use the Type-A end of the USB cable to connect to the AC
adapter.
2. Use the other side of the USB cable to connect to the terminal.
3. Plug the AC Adapter into the electrical outlet.
Dry Battery Power
3 AA size dry batteries (not included) can supply power to the scale.
1. Loosen the 2 screws on the terminal mounting bracket to
remove the terminal.
2. Open the battery compartment door at the bottom of the
terminal.
3. Install the batteries in the battery compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment door.
5. Reinstall the terminal on bracket.
The battery symbol indicates the battery status:
Battery 0%-10% remaining
Battery 11%-40% remaining
2.3.2 PC Connection
USB to PC
If you connect a USB cable to the PC, it allows USB communication with the PC.
NOTE: The USB cable to a PC connection can supply power to the scale as well.
1. Use the Type-A end of the USB cable to connect to the PC.
2. Use the other side of the USB cable to connect the
terminal through the mounting hole in the bracket.
