If you notice the smell of gas
1. Close the gas valve on the cylinder.
2. Extinguish naked flames and do not use electrical devices in the vicinity.
3. Ventilate the area.
4. Look for areas with a bad seal (as previously described).
5. If you can still smell gas, refer to your dealer or gas specialist.
Igniting
Please refer to figure L.
1. Fully open the gas supply on the gas cylinder.
2. Press the button of the gas control valve and twist it open in an anticlockwise direction
3. Press the gas control valve for about 30 seconds and repeatedly press the igniter at the same time.
4. Watch opening 4 to see if the pilot lamp is burning.
NOTE
• If a new gas cylinder has been connected, it can take up to one minute until the gas has reached the igniter.
• The gas control knob must be pressed down continuously during the ignition process so that the gas will flow.
• If no pilot flame can be seen on opening 4 after 30 seconds, repeat step 3.

Shutting off
1. Open the gas control knob in a clockwise direction
2. Press the gas control knob and turn it to OFF.
3. Close the gas supply on the gas cylinder.
