If required, the camera can be mounted at a suitable
GB
place with the supplied support (3). After releasing the
corresponding screws, the camera can be inclined and
moved.
4.2 Charging the rechargeable battery of the
camera
For power supply the camera is equipped with a
rechargeable lithium battery by which it can be oper-
ated for approx. 5 hours. However, for a permanent
operation the charger can also remain continuously
connected to the camera.
1) Connect the low voltage plug (9) of the charger to
the jack DC5V (5) of the camera and the charger to
a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
2) During charging, the green LED "Charge" (6) lights
up. The charging time of a discharge rechargeable
battery is approx. 2 hours.
3) If the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the
green LED will be extinguished. The charger can be
disconnected from the mains and from the camera.

4.3 Connecting the receiver

1) Connect the receiver via the supplied cable with
phono connectors to the monitor:
the jack AUDIO (16) to the audio input
the jack VIDEO (17) to the video input
2) Connect the supplied reception antenna (10) to the
jack ANT (11). Alternatively, with insufficient re-
10
ceiving quality, it is also possible to use a 2.4 GHz
directional antenna with corresponding gain, e. g.
an antenna of the DX series from MONACOR.
3) Connect the plug (18) of the supplied 12 V power
supply unit to the jack DC12V (15) and the power
supply unit to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).

4.4 Channel selection

The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range which has been divided into four channels for the
series of units AV-4xxSET. Two wireless cameras can
be operated at the same time, e. g. to monitor two
rooms. For this purpose always one channel between
the two transmission channels must remain free, so
that they do not interfere with each other. The following
channel combinations are possible:
channel 1 and channel 3 or
channel 1 and channel 4 or
channel 2 and channel 4
1) Switch on the receiver with the POWER switch (14).
The LED CH1 (12) lights up.
2) Select the desired transmission channel at the
receiver with the button SET (13).
3) Switch on the camera with the rotary switch (8) and
adjust it to the same channel. The red "Power" LED
(7) lights up as a power indication. If this LED is
extinguished or if the transmission quality becomes
poorer, the rechargeable battery of the camera must
be recharged (see chapter 4.2).
