Child Safety
• Keep children away from the oven while in use, as it
can reach very high temperatures.
• Children under 8 years of age should be kept away
from the appliance unless they are under constant
supervision. Children should not be allowed to play with
the appliance.
• Carefully watch children and non self-sufficient people
the entire time the appliance is in use, so that they do
come near it or touch hot surfaces.
Safety in the use of the oven
• This appliance has been designed to be used in a home
environment and not professionally. It should be used
by responsible adults.
• The oven must always be operated with the door
closed.
• Only use the oven after it has been installed inside the
kitchen unit (See Installing the Oven).
• The tray and grid have a system for easy partial
outward movement and handling of food.
• The oven heats up when in use. Oven gloves should be
used when performing operations inside the oven and
care should be taken to avoid touching the heating
elements.
• In the event of a power failure, the oven must be
switched off.
