Turn on the power to the monitor TV and/or
audio system.
Whena
stereo system is used for audic listening:
Turn on the power of the amplifier, and set its input selector to
the proper position for listening to the player, such as "LD".
Press POWER to turn on the power to this unit.
Press 4 or @/& to open the disc table.

Load a disc.
As shown in the following diagram, place the disc on the disc
table in the groove corresponding to the size of the disc. If the
disc is not centered correctly on the disc table, the disc will not
be played or the disc or the player may be damaged.
Always
place the disc correctly according to the required disc size on the
disc table.

If £on the front panel is pressed in STANDBY mode, the power
is automatically turned on and the disc table is opened.

With CDV discs, the video part is played first.

Fournir l'alimentation au moniteur TV et/ou au
systéme audio.
Quand unsystéme stéréo est utilisé pour I'écoute
de l'audio:
Fournir I'alimentation de l'amplificateur et régler son sélecteur
d'entrée sur la position correcte pour l'écoute du lecteur, par
exemple "LD".
Fournir l'alimentation a cet appareil.
Presser 4 ou @/4 pour ouvrir le plateau du disc.
Charger un disc.
Comme indiqué dans le diagramme, placer le disc sur le plateau
dans la rainure correspondant a la taille du disc. Si le disc n'est
pas correctement centré sur le plateau, il ne sera pas lu ou encore
le disc ou le lecteur peut étre endommagé.
Toujours placer le
disc correctement selon la taille du disc.
Presser >/if ou » pour commencer fa lecture.
Si_on appuie sur la touche & du panneau
avant en rnode
STANDBY, l'appareil est mis sous tension et le plateau a disque
s'ouvre automatiquement.
Avec les discs CDV, la partie vidéo est lue en premier.
Avec ies LD a deux faces, en fin de lecture de la face Adu disque
(face tournée vers te haut), I'écran bleu (ou I'écran noir en Mode
Film —> p.64) apparait, puis la lecture de la face B commence
automatiquement.

To play and listen to a disc without connecting this unit to an
audio system:
Plug headphones into the PHONES jack on the front panel of this
unit and adjust the volume with PHONES LEVEL.
