SYMPTOM
Noise or sound
distorted on FM
broadcasts.
FM no sound
Disc can not play.
Disc is inserted
but player skips
over spot and will
not play.
No power

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Station not tuned properly for
AM or FM
FM: Rod antenna is not ex-
tended.
AM: Unit is not positioned
correctly.
Function Selector is not at
RADIO mode.
Volume at minimum.
Function Selector is not at
DVD mode.
CD is not installed or installed
incorrectly.
Disc inserted upside down.
Disc is dirty.
Disc is non-standard.
Player doesn't connect to the
power plug.
Function Selector is not at ON
mode.
The battery in the player is
low.
SOLUTION
Return the AM or FM broadcast
station.
Extend rod antenna.
Rotate unit until best reception is
obtained.
Set Function selector to RADIO.
Increase Volume.
Set Function Selector to DVD.
Insert CD with lable side facing
up.
Insert disc properly.
Clean disc.
Use correct disc.
Insert the power plug securely
into the power outlet.
Check if the ON/OFF button on
the back of the player is set to
ON.
Replace the battery.
