5. Software and Apps
By connecting the protection device to a PC or a mobile device, it's possible obtein information about the
status and history of use, as well as perform diagnostic activities and configuration.
5.1

Power Control Station is a software for personal computers equipped with a Microsoft Windows
system which allows to exchange data with the circuit breaker protection unit via the appropriate USB port.

The length of the
cables present on
the EMS system
must not exceed
3m.
The software supports connection with the breaker in order to:
• Monitor the status of the breaker;
• Read information (firmware versions, device version, alarms, measurements, parameters, fault history);
• View the trip curve set by the user;
• Configure the protection unit (active protections and thresholds/delays adjustments)
• Update the firmware of the protection unit (for Service personnel only);
• Generate reports based on the data stored and read in the protection unit;
• Run diagnostic tests.
Thanks to the possibility of saving protection parameters, configuration of the protection unit and history
interventions, it also facilitates the operational testing of an electrical panel.
Power Control Station is a free software and is available on the manufacturer's website/e-cat.
5.2
By connecting the BLE dongle (ref. 0 283 10) to the device via the USB port, it is possible to connect to the
breaker with a mobile device (Android and iOS) using the EnerUp + Project app. Within the app, it will be
possible to create your own system and register the devices installed for future use, as well as query the
protection unit to access real-time data (status, measurements, alarms) and perform diagnostic tests.
