The unit will indicate that the batteries are being charged with an animated
battery icon. When the batteries are fully charged, this icon will show 'battery
full' (

During normal operation this icon shows the actual battery level.

Shortly after the battery icon shows 'Battery empty' (
switch off. Reconnect the power adapter to switch the parent unit back on.
The batteries will then be recharged (icon will flash).
6.3 restOring deFault settings
The Babyphone settings can be restored to their default values as follows:

Check whether the parent unit is switched on.
•
Check whether the rechargeable batteries supplied are
correctly installed and that they are not empty.
•
Recharge the parent unit by connecting it to the power
supply.
•
The parent unit and the baby unit may be out of range
of one another. Reduce the distance between the units.
•
The baby unit may be switched off. Press the POWER
key to switch on the baby unit.
•
The alkaline batteries in the baby unit are running low.
Replace the alkaline batteries or connect the baby unit
to the mains power supply.
