SETTING THE TIME MANUALLY
Manual setting is required if the radio wall clock is to be used beyond the range of
the DCF signal, e.g. in a basement.
 
Setting the time manually is only possible when the radio wall clock is not in
the reception mode for the DCF signal.
Proceed as follows:
-
Press and hold the "M SET" button. After 3 seconds, the minute hand begins to
move.
-
Shortly before reaching the correct time, release the "M SET" (3) button.
-
If you then press the "M SET" button just briefl y, the minute hand moves on by
exactly one minute at a time.
 
The manual settings mode is automatically terminated if you do not press
the "M SET" (1) button for about 8 seconds. After this, the second hand
starts moving again.
The second hand cannot be set independently.
MANUAL START OF THE DCF RECEPTION SEARCH
A manual DCF reception search can be started in cases where, for example, the
automatic summer/winter setting change is not recognised or if the clock ever loses
the DCF-reception and shows the wrong time.
 
Check fi rst, however, that the cause of the wrong time display is not an
empty battery.
Press and hold the "REC" button (4) for more than 3 seconds. Once the hands start
moving rapidly, release the button again. (Alternatively, you can remove the battery
for a few seconds and then replace it).
All the hands move to the 12 o'clock position, after which the radio wall clock searches
for the DCF signal.
 
The recognition and processing of the DCF signal can take from 3 to10 min-
utes. Do not move the radio wall clock during that time. Do not press any
buttons!
PERFORMING A RESET
 
Use this function, if the radio-controlled alarm clock no longer responds to
button activation or in the event of other malfunctions.
In this case, all of the previously received DCF data is deleted.
In order to reset the radio wall clock, press the RESET button (2). All the hands
move to the 12 o'clock position, after which the radio wall clock searches for the
DCF signal.
 
The recognition and processing of the DCF signal can take from 3 to 10 min-
utes. Do not move the radio wall clock during that time. Do not press any
buttons!
INSTALLATION
Hang up the radio wall clock, using the mounting bracket on the back, on a nail,
screw or hook on a vertical wall.
Due to the heaviness of the radio wall clock, ensure solid mounting! If the
clock falls, the radio wall clock's casing will be damaged and the warranty
will be void!
THERMOMETER AND HYGROMETER
The analogue thermometer displays the environmental temperature both in °C
(degree Celsius, outer marking ) and in °F (degree Farenheit, inner marking).
The analogue hygrometer displays the environmental humidity (relative air humi-
dity).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled
for any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Do not apply too much pressure on
the housing or the front glass, this can cause damage or scratch marks.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agents, as they can discolour the plastic casing.
