Use soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.

Only use a minimal amount of water when
cleaning so that no water enters the appli-
ance.
Soak dried-on food remains with a small
amount of soapy water; do not scour.
Remove severe stains caused by heat, yel-
lowing, or small rust spots on the damper
by cleaning it in the dishwasher with our
stainless-steel cleaning agent (Product No.
00311499).
Operating
The soapy cloth must not be too wet. Dry
controls
with a soft cloth.

Put the damper into mid-position and pull upwards
to remove. The damper will snap out of the holder.
Note: Be careful, the damper may scratch you when
removing and storing! Lift the damper straight up
and out and do not bend it.

Pull the metal grease filter up and out of the
appliance. Take out the positioning plate (if
installed).

Clean the metal grease filter and positioning plate.

Clean the interior of the downdraft ventilation.

Insert the positioning plate (only by the side air
outlet, it must face the right way).

Insert the grease filter.

Press the damper down into mid-position until it
snaps into the holder on both sides with an audible
"click."

Risk of fire
Grease deposits in the grease filter can ignite.
Clean the grease filter at least every two months.
Never operate the appliance without the grease
filter.

Do not use any aggressive, acidic or alkaline
cleaning agents.
‒
When cleaning the metal grease filters, also clean
the metal grease filter holder in the appliance with a
moist cloth.
‒
You can clean the metal grease filters in a
dishwasher or by hand.
