A1 GENERALITY
A1.1 Bravo, MiniBravo, BravoCALOR scope and not recommended uses
Bravo, MiniBRAVO e BravoCALOR are cleaning and self cleaning protection filters with manual operated
washing system equipped with a filtering net with a filtration rating of 89 micron designed to filter drinking
water. The filters protect the hydraulic distribution system and the piping from damage caused by small
amount of impurities such as pebbles, rust scales and other kind of oxides, metal trimmings with a maximum
size of 2 mm.
Warning! Bravo, MiniBRAVO e BravoCALOR are not suitable for filtration of water containing:
- big amount of sand
- coarse bodies greater than 2 mm
- silt
- chemicals (oils, solvents, acids, bases, glycols)
Bravo, MiniBRAVO e BravoCALOR must not be used to filter closed loop water.
To filter process water and/or for applications other than those described it is necessary to consult with an

MiniBRAVO: Mechanical self-cleaning filter MiniBravo, hand brush, instruction manual for use and
maintenance, installation and assembly manual, warranty.
BravoCALOR: Mechanical cleaning filter BravoCalor, pressure gauge (for models FT200/FT220,
FT202/FT222, FT204/FT224), instruction manual for use and maintenance, installation and assembly manual,
warranty.
