THE FOUNDATION
Although the construction is light, it is still essential that the base is perfectly level and
stable. Preferably a concrete slap, at least 2 cm above the floor level.
The base plate cannot be larger than the walls in order to avoid water infiltration.
First lay a waterproof sheet in order to avoid soil moisture (if necessary also an armoured
mesh), and dump the concrete unto this.
After 3 weeks of drying, you have a good base (and a floor) to install your garden house.
BEFORE THE ASSEMBLY
Store and treat the wood horizontally and
level in a cool and dry room and avoid
exposure to direct sunlight, rain and
humidity. Do not forget, when unpacking,
to verify whether all the parts are present
and in good condition. Contact, if necessary,
within 8 days as of delivery, the after sales service. You can check the contents on the
basis of the parts list in this guide. This prevents unpleasant surprises during assembly.
Do not assemble if there are any parts missing or unusable!
Your garden house was made from untreated wood. It is necessary to treat ALL sides
of the wood with at least one layer of wood protection product, in order to prevent
distortion and to protect the wood against fungi, blueing and insects. Avoid ground
contact and let dry horizontally and flat.
DURING HE ASSEMBLY
Please always follow precisely the assembly manual! Avoid putting up your garden
house during great heat, extreme cold or rain.
The assembly time is significantly shorter if you sort the parts per side close to the
assembly location.
Keep the roofing vertically and in the garage, as such you will avoid that the
bitumen will stick, crack or shrink/expand.
In most cases you can mirror the door and window position as well as the hinge
side of the door.
Avoid ground contact, place a construction foil under the first beam. The diagonals
must be equal and remain so for the duration of the assembly.
Place the most beautiful plank side on the outside with the toothed side at the top.
Always use a rubber mallet so that the wood does not get damaged.
Pre-drilling provides a connection which is up to 2 times stronger and without
cracks.
Regularly check the level during assembly.
Place the pre-fabricated top facades with the staples on the inside. Hold the tops
during the assembly to avoid breaking off.
Assemble the roof plates/roof planchettes from a stable ladder, do NOT climb on
the roof!!! The roof is not calculated for this point load.
The correct assembly of all angle lists is necessary!
Each beam layer (also the lower and the top facade) should be fixed in accordance
with the assembly manual, as such you will avoid the formation of cracks and/or
EN
deformation! For an assembly without door sill, consult your distributor.
