Prepare the Hood
1 ] If present, remove all protective polyfilm from the hood and/or parts.
2 ] Remove 2 screws from top of hood. Remove the 3¼'' x 10'' adapter and the 3¼'' x 14''
3 ] Turn the hood upside down. Grab the front edge of the decorative panel and lift it to detach
4 ] Using a 11/32" nutdriver or socket, remove both lock nuts retaining the flange of the cover plate

adapter frame from the back of hood. Keep the screws for further use.
the panel from the front magnets (A). Remove the decorative panel from the hood by tilting it
slightly to disengage it from 3 hooks (B), then set aside the panel. Remove the damper flap
from decorative panel and set aside.

MAGNETS
to the inner back of hood (see insets). Remove the cover plate retaining screws (10 screws),
then set the blowers cover along with its screws and nuts aside.
