Inserting/changing batteries
For use you require 3 batteries of type LR03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included). The battery
compartment is located on the underside of the device.
1. Press the locking tab slightly towards the centre of the scales and remove the
battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries as shown on the base of the battery compartment. Pay attention
to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place. The locking tab must snap
securely into place.
Notes on changing the battery:
‚ The batteries need to be changed when "LO" or nothing is shown on
the display.
‚ Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical Data".
‚ Always exchange all of the batteries at the same time.
‚ Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see "Disposal").
Operation
Weighing
1. Place the scales on an even, firm, and dry surface. Carefully position the scales in
order to avoid hard impacts to the sensors/feet and therefore to avoid damage.
2. Place the weighing bowl on the weighing surface.
3. Switch on the scales by pressing the T l
Wait a moment until "0" appears on the display.
4. Choose the desired unit of measurement by repeatedly touching UNIT. Choose
from "g" (gramme), "fl.oz. " (fluid ounce), "lboz" (pound) and "ml" (millilitre). Pay
attention to the indicator on the display.
Choose "ml" if you would like to weigh liquids.
5. Put the substance to be weighed into the weighing bowl.
6. Read the measured weight.
‚ There is a litre scale on the scale pan.
‚ You can also weigh using a different container (tub, plate, etc.). In
doing so, the procedure is the same.
