10 Place the new wick in the wick holder and press the
wick pins firmly into the holes in the wick holder.
11 Put the wick holder (with wick) back into position by
pushing the two large pins on the outside of the wick
holder into the rebate in the wick mechanism. Turn the
wick holder clockwise until it is firmly in place.
12 Put the wick holder chassis back into position.
13 Screw opposite wing nuts in succession until they are
hand tight.
14 Check that the wick mechanism works by pushing the
flame regulator all the way down and pushing on the
safety button.
15 Check that the tip-over-mechanism works by pushing
the flame regulator all the way down and tilting the
small piece of lead.
16 Put the cabinet back into position and tighten the
cabinet screws. Now put the combustion chamber back
into position. Check that it is level by sliding it slightly
to the left and the right by its handle. Close the grill.
17 Put the filled removable tank back into position.
18 Put the batteries into the battery holder (ensure that
the positive and negative poles match the + and –
marks indicated on the battery housing). Wait 30
minutes after placing the removable tank and batteries
before using the heater.
