– Can be installed in any position.
– Install the emergency stop unit in
such a way that the operator is
protected against penetrating
foreign particles,
e.g., swarf, sand, etc.
– If emergency stop devices are connected in series, the performance
level as defined in EN ISO 13849-1 may become lower due to reduced
fault detection capabilities.
– When using emergency stop applications, it is required for the overall
system to be validated as specified in EN ISO 13849-2.

eindringende Verschmutzung,
z. B. Späne, Sand etc. geschützt ist.
– Bei Hintereinanderschaltungen von NOT-AUS-Geräten kann sich der
Performance-Level nach EN ISO 13849-1 auf Grund verringerter
Fehlererkennung reduzieren.
– Bei Verwendung von NOT-AUS-/NOT-HALT-Applikationen ist
grundsätzlich eine Validierung der Gesamtanlage nach EN ISO 13849-2
erforderlich.
