For safety-related applications, the sensor self-test must be activated.
– Gas settings
Depending on the sensor, the gas type, measuring range and measuring
units can be set with this feature.
WARNING
Alarm cannot be detected!
The trigger threshold for the new gas settings must be adjusted in Burst Mode
Rising or Falling after changes to the gas settings.
The trigger thresholds are not adjusted automatically, the device activates the
default factory settings!
► After gas settings change, adjust the trigger thresholds in the burst mode
configuration (Burst Mode Configuration).
WARNING
Mortal danger!
Burst mode configurations (Burst Mode Configurations) have a significant
influence on transmitting the gas reading to the gateway.
Incorrect configuration will result in critical gas concentrations not being
detected or being detected with a long time delay.
► Check parameters at the gateway.
14.2 Resetting the gas detector to the factory
settings
Can be performed from 10 minutes after turning on the gas detector.

configuration, and Bluetooth pairing PIN are reset.

Procedure using the magnetic pen
Placement of the magnetic pen

Reset the gas detector to the factory settings:
1. Hold the magnetic pen on the mark (Fig. A 12) for approx. 15 seconds until
the blue LED flashes rapidly.
2. Lower the magnetic pen for 7 seconds.
3. Put the magnetic pen back on the marking for 1 second (LED stops flashing)
and then take it off.
✓ The gas detector restarts and is reset.
