GPRS reception
The Vodafone GPRS signal strength (2G) must be between
-56 and -80 dBm. At weaker signal, please contact
NewMotion.
Space in distribution box
There needs to be sufficient room in the distribution board
to add any necessary circuit(s).
Presence of solar panels
Are solar panels installed? Install the charge point on
the same phase(s) as the solar panels in order to make
maximum use of the power generated by the panels.
SAFETY
The electrical system must be voltage-free during
the entire installation procedure.
The installation procedure must be carried out by a
trained electrician who works in accordance with
the relevant laws and regulations such as BS 7671.
Do not carry out installation work in rain or when
the humidity is above 95%.

In certain situations the charge point can be connected
using an Ethernet cable at locations where there is no or
inadequate GPRS signal. There are, however, additional

UTP cable RJ45 connectors
Optional: connecting to a smart meter (DSMR4.0)
The charge point can be combined with all smart meters
that comply with the DSMR4.0 standard. During installa-
tion, always link a UTP cable from the mains to the charge
point for future use. When connecting to a smart meter,
