3. Appliance description
This device is intended to control the fan stages of the con-
nected ventilation unit. The device is equipped with a day time
switch as well as indicators for party mode and filter change.

Note
At the factory, the appliance is fitted with a recharge-
able battery that temporarily ensures the power sup-
ply to the day time switch in the case of a power failure.
The power supply must not be interrupted for longer
than 48 hours.

4.1 Operating mode switch
Five functions are assigned to the operating mode switch:
Party mode Fan stage 3
Day mode Fan stage 2
Night mode Fan stage 1
Standby mode The ventilation unit is in standby mode. Subject
to the appliance type and settings, the fans are
either idle or generate the minimum air flow.
Automatic mode The selected time program switches the ventila-
tion unit between day and night mode.
4.2 Day time switch
You can adjust the day time switch by moving the movable
hand clockwise.
f Pivot the front cover down. f
f Turn the movable hand until the 24 h figure is at top f
centre.
f Close the front cover. The day time switch is now set to

03:00 h (night time).
f To set the day time switch to your local time, turn the
f
movable hand until it is at the current local time. when
making this adjustment, remember that it is a 24 hour
clock setting.

4.3 Automatic mode

You can determine the required switching times for automatic
mode using the adjustable segments of the day time switch.
Each segment corresponds to a switching time of 15 minutes.
Segments that are pulled out cause the fan speed to be re-
duced to night mode. Segments pushed inwards cause the
fan speed to be raised to day mode.
The automatic mode indicator signals whether day or night
mode is currently active. You can change over manually in
automatic mode by turning the operating mode switch anti-
clockwise.
