Push the plate holder towards the left.
Place the plate in the plate holder and
release gently.

Adjustment of the stop:
For the protection of the preparations: a stop D can be obtained from the
teacher and can be adjusted with the provided key.

Introduce the key on the edge of the macrometric movement (1) and open (2).
Place the stage to the maximum desired height (objective of greatest
magnifying power). Place the stop screw in contact with the axis of the spiral
and tighten with the key (3).
Important: for this action, position the micrometric movement as shown in the
picture below.
Important: Never change the adjustment of central screw: it is the adjustment
of movements' hardness which is factory-adjusted, you may damage your
material. For any adjustment of movement's hardness, contact the JEULIN
technical support.
The micrometric movement E is manipulated in a typical manner. An indexing
F of the min/max excursion provides additional safety: when the left mark is
positioned in the middle of the two right marks the micrometric movement is at
half-lift.

Depending on the IRIO model of the microscope, you are provided with either
a rectangular stage equipped with bases (microscopes Ref. 571 210 and 571
211), or an ergonomic stage (microscope Ref. 571 212).
Intuitively practical and precise, the ergonomic stage incorporates a plate
holder for histology plates and rock thin sections and commands with the
buttons of orthogonal movement. It is designed so that the pupils can quickly
run through it.
