3 Activation
1. Remove the microscope from the packing.
2. The microscope that you receive is pre-assembled and ready to use. The
eyepiece H and the objectives J are in position and tightened (secured).
3. For models with integral lighting (Ref. 571 211 and 571 212) connect the
cord with the 2P + T to a 220 V main plug.
4. Keep the key, dust cover and polarisation kit that are delivered with your
microscope.
4 Utilisation and adjustments
4.1 Adjustment key
This tool, which is provided with each IRIO microscope, allows the user to
carry out the following actions:
- Disassembly/locking of the eyepiece H or objectives J.
- Opening of the macrometric movement D and adjustment of the stop.
- Disassembly of the mirror unit or lighting N.
In case of loss, this key can be ordered under the reference 574 241.
4.2 Stand

4.3 Observation head

Monocular head A inclined at 45° and rotary over 360° suitable for
observation by two users.

Eyepiece x10 secured large field H: benefits from fall-prevention, dustproof
and patented antitheft devices. The disassembly remains possible with the
provided key.
The eyepiece holder is standard and can hold eyepieces Ø 23 mm (DIN
norm). This eyepiece is compatible with the cameras and contains a
compartment to place the analyser (provided) in polarised light.
Optional: eyepieces x5 Huyghens (Ref. 574 243) and x15 large field (Ref. 574
244).
