BEFoRE THE FIRST uSE

Remove all packaging materials. Do NOT leave
any packaging materials (e. g. plastic bags,
styrofoam parts) within reach of children – risk
of suffocation!
Make sure that the supplied voltage and
current match the data shown on the rating
label.
ClEaNING
Before cleaning, turn off the appliance, remove power plug, and allow all parts to cool down com-
pletely.
lID (1), RICE Bowl (4),
STEaM BoxES (5 / 6 / 7) aND
CoNDENSaTE CollECTR (9)
The lid (1), rice bowl (4), steam boxes (5 / 6 / 7)
and condensate collector (9) are dishwasher
safe.
These parts can also be cleaned with warm,
soapy water, after which they should be rinsed
with clean water and dried.
BaSE wITH waTER TaNk (12)
Wipe the base (12) with a clean, wet cloth first,
and then dry it with a soft, dry cloth.
If limescale deposits build up, they can be re-
moved by regular descaling with vinegar and
water or a commercial descaler. Always fill the
appliance with clean water and boil after des-
caling.
Caution! Do NoT put the base (12) into the dish-
washer!
Caution! Do NoT immerse the base (12) and the
power plug in water or any other liquids.
Verify that all parts and accessories are intact
and free from damage, and also check the
power cord.
Clean all of the parts of the appliance as out-
lined in the "Cleaning" section.
DESCalING
If limescale deposits build up on the surface of
the food steamer, simply follow the directions
below to remove the deposits:
1. Fill the water tank in the base (12) to half-full
with a vinegar and water solution or a com-
mercial descaler.
2. Place the condensate collector (9), the steam
boxes (5 / 6 / 7) and the lid (1) on the base
(12).
3. Set the operation time to 25 minutes and start
the appliance as described in the "Operation"
section.
4. Allow the device to cool down completely.
5. Empty the liquid in the condensate collector
(9) first. Then empty the base (12).
6. Rinse all of the parts of the appliance thor-
oughly with clean water.
7. Dry all of the components of the appliance.
