MINN KOTA 1810211 Instructions D'installation

The Bob's Machine Shop (BMS) Spacer Block Kit provides an additional 3/4" of spacing between the Jack Plate and the Outboard engine when
mounting a Minn Kota ® shallow water anchor. When mounting with the Raptor, this allows for the installation of the Raptor Universal Sandwich
Adapter (1810372 and 1810377 - white). When mounting with the Talon it allows for the installation of the Talon Sandwich Adapter Bracket
(1810302 or 1810303).

NOTICE:
The BMS Spacer Block Kit only needs to be
used when rigging a Raptor or Talon adapter bracket
BETWEEN a Bob's Machine Shop hydraulic Jack Plate and
the Outboard engine. Adapter brackets can also be rigged
between the Jack Plate and boat Transom and would NOT
require the BMS Spacer Block Kit.

MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS
Before mounting your Sandwich Adapter Bracket, please give
consideration to the following:
1. Attaching the Sandwich Adapter Bracket will require removal
of the Outboard engine and/or Jack Plate. Minn Kota
recommends that the installation be performed by a marine
dealer or servicing center.
2. The Sandwich Adapter Bracket can be purchased to
accommodate for either a Port or Starboard installation. If a
Sandwich Adapter Bracket is installed to both the Port and
Starboard side, the Shim Brackets will not be used and will be
replaced with the Elbow Bracket for that side. If the boat is to
be rigged that way, it may be necessary to remove a factory
equipped e-ladder for proper bracket installation. Due to the
wide variety of e-ladders, Minn Kota is not responsible for the
re-installation or re-location of any factory equipped e-ladder.

• Check with your boat manufacturer for tools needed to remove
any hardware used to hold the outboard motor to the Jack Plate.
NOTICE:
The Outboard does not have to be completely
removed. Remove the mounting bolts that secure the
Outboard to the Jack Plate from one side and loosen the
mounting bolts on the opposite side. Tilt the Outboard
motor for the installation steps below. Repeat for the
opposite side to complete the installation.
NOTICE:
Longer mounting bolts than originally provided
by the outboard manufacturer may be needed for proper
installation of the Jack Plate and/or Adapter Bracket.
Support the Outboard before any work has begun on the
bracket installation. An unsecured motor may cause harm from
falling. Make sure that all hardware is secure before moving or
operating the boat or Outboard once installation is complete.
