EN Use
1. Take the removable cuffs off.
2. Open the longest strap, place it around the patient's torso and close it.
3. Place the middle strap around the distal part the upper arm of the injured shoulder and close it.
Fix the upper arm strap on the side on the torso strap.
4. Open the shortest strap and place it around the wrist. Fix the wrist splint at a suitable front
position on the torso strap.
5. Fix the optional shoulder strap on the unaffected side to the torso strap both at the front and
back to prevent slipping.
Note
Attach the orthosis in such a way that it fits snugly on your body. Positioning of the arm
should be as prescribed by the doctor. Make sure that the skin does not become trapped in the
region where the hook-and-loop fasteners are. The latter should not be fastened too tightly to
prevent stasis.

Working life / Lifespan of the product
The lifespan of the medical device is determined by natural wear and tear due to proper han-
dling / cleaning. The medical device is designed to be used for the usual duration of use prescribed
by a doctor without showing a reduction in safety or performance. After the period of use
prescribed by your doctor, check the function of the product together with your doctor or specialist
dealer.

Cleaning instructions

The MECRON Shoulder Orthosis is washable at 30° C. The hook and loop fasteners must be closed
before washing. Do not dry the product in a dryer or on a radiator. Leave it to dry at room tempera-
ture.
Disposal
Please dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Dispose of this prod-
uct after use in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.
