3.2 Registration

With the first start of the software a window opens which shows the software
License ID and code of the software version. Both are needed for unlimited ac-
cess to the AquaMATE-Software. There are two options to request the access
key. It can either be requested by using the "Send request" button which opens
the default mail editor and copies all necessary information into a new e-mail
automatically. If no default mail editor is available the other option would be us-
ing the "Show text" button which opens a text box that can be used to copy all
necessary information into a new e-mail manually. The e-mail is sent to registra-
tion@aquamate.info. The software can be launched 15 times without entering
an access key. The upper part of the window shows the remaining launches.
Once the access key is entered no further key is required, even if a software up-
date is performed. There is a limitation of the number of installations on different
computers (standard five times). For each installation a new access key must be
requested.
In the lower part of the window the Software License Agreement is shown. The
user has to agree before the software can be launched. The user can either store
or print the Software License Agreement. The agreement can always be stored or
printed by using the "Info" button of the software.
