To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, any other maintenance or adjustment should
be performed by Makita Authorized or Factory Service
Centers, always using Makita replacement parts.

After use

After use, wipe off chips and dust adhering to the tool
with a cloth or the like. Keep the blade guard clean
according to the directions in the previously covered
section titled "Blade guard". Lubricate the sliding por-
tions with machine oil to prevent rust.

CAUTION:
• These accessories or attachments are recom-
mended for use with your Makita tool specified
in this manual. The use of any other accessories
or attachments might present a risk of injury to
persons. Only use accessory or attachment for
its stated purpose.
If you need any assistance for more details regard-
ing these accessories, ask your local Makita Service
Center.
• Socket wrench
• Safety goggle
• Lock-off button (Switch button)
• Carbide-tipped saw blade
(Refer to our website or contact your local Makita
dealer for the correct saw blades to be used for
the material to be cut.)
CAUTION:
• Always use carbide-tipped saw blades appro-
priate for your job. Do not cut aluminum, wood,
plastics, concrete, tiles, etc.
• Carbide-tipped saw blades for metal cutting saw
are not to be re-sharpened.
NOTE:
• Some items in the list may be included in the
tool package as standard accessories. They
may differ from country to country.
