4. Installation instructions for wall and ceiling
Important information
▪ The distance of the Design infrared radiator to the wall is specified by the brackets.
Distances to objects must be at least 0.6 m from all device corners.
▪ The Design infrared radiator may not be placed immediately over and under a socket
▪ The minimum distance of 50 cm to a water con-
nection must be maintained and not in the imme-
diate area of a bathtub, a shower or a swimming
pool
▪ The minimum distance to the floor must be
0.61 m from the lower edge of the Design infra-
red radiator.
Tools
To attach your Design infrared radiator to walls, you will require the following the tools:
• Tape band or folding metre
• Level
• Pencil
• Drill
• Drill bit
• Cordless screwdriver or screwdriver
• Dowels/anchors for the installation/mounting (see Table "Anchor materials")
Installation of the wall brackets and mounting the Design infrared radiator
1. First select a place on your wall for the Design infrared radiator. When doing this, please
observe that the socket required for the operation of your Design infrared radiator is
within the cable length (1.5 m). With the help of the sub-structure supplied with your
device by the company, you can precisely determine the desired place.
Thanks to our technology, you can install the Design infrared
radiator either vertically or horizontally without having to do
any marking on the element.
Use a level (use the support area of the sub-structure to lay
the level on) and align the sub-structure plumb/level.
