centre with wireless extension. The PIR sensor is used to
detect the movement of body heat. Despite the words "pet
immune to xx kg" it is possible that animals with a lower
weight, trigger the detector. The risk of false triggering is
particularly high when the animal is moving in the vicinity of
the detector, jump or fly. It has a fan-shaped detection area
with a radius of approximately 10 metres at an aperture
angle of 90°. However, the sensor is insensitive to pets.
The housing is protected by an internal tamper contact. A
stamping on the rear side of the housing can be removed,
which is used as a wall tamper contact against
unauthorised removal.
