Plug the device into a correctly grounded outlet.
If an extension cord is needed, each wire composing the extension cord should have a cross section of at least 1 mm
the maximum extension cord length is 5m and the extension cord must be dedicated to the dehumidifi er.
• The dehumidifier must always be kept vertical.
• If the dehumidifer was laid on its side or tilted during transport, allow it to stand for at least one hour before switching it on.
• Do not obstruct the air intake/outlet gratings. Move any object (towels, curtains, etc) that could be sucked into the device.
• To improve efficiency, close doors and windows in the room while the dehumidifier is running.
• Do not tilt the machine or turn it over.
• In the event that the power cable is damaged, have it replaced by a qualified technician.
• Never stop the device by unplugging it; use the on/off button on the control panel.
• Do not spray the device with water, insecticides or any chemical products.
• Never pour water onto the machine.
• Do not switch the machine on if the ambient temperature is below 5°C, ice could build up on the evaporator.
