5. If the speaker is not used for 15 minutes, it will automatically enter standby mode. Press
the button to turn it back on.
Radio
• Extend the FM antenna (on the back of the speaker).
• Repeatedly press the SOURCE button to select TUN (radio mode). The frequency will be
displayed on the screen: 90.3, for example.
• Press and hold the

• Press the button again at any time to stop the automatic scan.
• When a channel (e.g. P-01) is displayed on the screen, press
or previous station.
• When the automatic scan has stopped and the radio frequency (e.g. 90.3) is displayed,
press or to fine tune the radio channel (in 0.05 MHz increments).
NOTE:
• Up to 30 radio stations can be saved. The actual number of registered stations
depends on the reception in your area. Once saved, the stations will be retained,
even if you turn off the speaker.
• The station memory will be erased whenever the speaker's power cable is
unplugged.
Microphone
You can connect 1 microphone (not supplied) to sing karaoke or create a speaker system with
which you can communicate with a large audience.
• Connect the cable (not supplied).
• Turn the MIC VOL knob to adjust the microphone volume.
• If an echo can be heard whilst using the microphone, adjust the ECHO VOL knob until the
echo is gone or very faint.
• When you have finished using the microphone, unplug the cable from the speaker.

Press this button to turn the bass on or off. BASS ON
is displayed when the bass is on and BASS OFF is
displayed when the bass is off.
Press repeatedly to select a sound: ROCK, JAZZ,
SAMBA, POP, BALANCE or FUNK.
Press repeatedly to select PARTY CHAIN ON or PARTY
CHAIN OFF.
NOTE: The Party Chain function only works when an
additional speaker is connected to the speaker system
(see the Connecting the speaker to an additional
speaker section).
