Stroke rate
The stroke rate can be adjusted by turning the thumbwheel. Position 1 corresponds to 800 strokes per
minute and position 6 corresponds to 3000 strokes per minute.
Depending on how far the on/off switch is pressed, the stroke rate begins at 75 strokes per minute and
increases to the stroke rate set by the thumbwheel.

4 orbital-action settings
The 4 orbital-action settings allow cutting performance and quality of cut to be adjusted to suit the material
to be cut. The orbital-action adjustment lever is used to set the power tool to one of the 4 settings.
The lower the orbital-action setting, the finer and cleaner the cut edges will be. The optimum setting can be
determined by carrying out practical tests.

Lockbutton

The lockbutton has three positions.
1. The middle position is the normal position: The lockbutton can be seen on the left and on the right. In
this position, for example, the stroke rate can be adjusted.
The on/off switch can be pressed and released.
2. The lockbutton can be seen only on the left: Transport position (the tool cannot start)
The on/off switch is locked and cannot be pressed.
3. The lockbutton can be seen only on the right: After the tool has been switched on (on/off switch fully
pressed), the lockbutton can be pushed to the right to lock the switch in the "on" position. To release the
lock, press the on/off button again.

Anti-splinter insert
The product can be equipped with an anti-splinter insert.
The anti-splinter insert helps prevent splintering on the surface of wood materials when cutting.

Technical data
4.1
Orbital-action jig saw
When powered by a generator or transformer, the generator or transformer's power output must be at
least twice the rated input power shown on the rating plate of the power tool. The operating voltage of
the transformer or generator must always be within +5% and -15% of the rated voltage of the power
tool.
The information given applies to a rated voltage of 230 V. The data may vary in the event of deviations
from the rated voltage and for country-specific versions. Please refer to the power tool's type
identification plate for details of its voltage, frequency, current and input power ratings.
