Very low ambient temperatures
Blunt cutting tool
No mains voltage
Incorrect mains voltage
Advancement too fast or material removal
too high during one revolution
Oil loss in the gear box
Excessive temperature increase in the motor
Damaged chain link
Chain incorrectly joined
Chain bolt only partially inserted
Pipe milling machine and chain are not correctly
aligned
Guide shaft not eccentric
Blunt cutting tool
Pipe is laid at an incline or vertical,
or pipe is out of round
Cutting tool is overloaded
No mains voltage
Switch is not on
Coupling slips
Advancement too fast
Cutting tool too deep
Nuts (11) have not been tightened
Chain loose
Blunt cutting tool
Measures to be taken
Use FEIN gear oil for low temperatures
Change the cutting tool
Check the mains connection and switching
devices
Check the data for the mains connection
Align the gears and/or reduce the plunging
depth
Replenish oil. If oil loss occurs again,
look for leakage point and repair.
Reactivate the switchgear

Check the joins and correct
Fully insert the bolt
