■ How to turn on the power
• Switching the input of the host display to "OPTION" turns on this unit.
• Switching on of the PC Controller power can be linked with the power on operation of the
host display.
When turning on the power with the input of the host display set to "OPTION", the power
supply of this unit will also be turned on. In the following cases, it becomes "OPTION" state.
- The situation where the host display power supply is turned off with "OPTION" when
"start input mode" is set to "last input mode".
- "When input mode at startup" is set to "OPTION".
• When turning on the power of this unit in conjunction with the schedule function of the
host display, make sure that the host display turns on with the "OPTION" status.
Please note
• Do not turn off the main power of the host display when the power of this unit is turned
on.
• Please ensure that Windows is shut down propertly before turning off the power of the
host display or before turning off the main power supply of the host display.
■ How to turn off the power
Linking the "OFF" operation of the PC Controller and the host display
When you set "LINKED OFF SETTING" of "OPTION POWER CONTROL" of the host display to
"ON", in accordance with the power of the host display "OFF", the power will be turned off .
• When the host display switches to the power standby state, the PC Controller unit turns off .
• If the power supply of the PC Controller unit does not achieve the intended state, wait until
the menu operation of the host display is ready and wait until the status screen of the host
display is displayed and then perform the operation again.
• Even if the input mode is changed to something other than "OPTION", this unit cannot be
turned off .
• When the power of this PC Controller unit is on, the host display will not enter the input
signal wait state.
• The following settings and functions of the host display cannot be used when the power of
this unit is turned on.
- "DisplayPort stream" of "terminal setting" of the main unit setting menu
- "All Reset 1", "All Reset 2" in "All Reset" in the special function menu
• When the power of this unit is turned on, "ERR" is returned in response to the following
control command: POWR, DPST, RSET.
Unlinking the power off function of PC Controller and host display
If you set "LINKED OFF SETTING" of "OPTION POWER CONTROL" in host display to "OFF", the
unit can not be turned off even if the host display is turned off .
• Even when the host display switches to the power standby mode, the power of this unit
remains on and overall power consumption increases in the power standby mode.
• You cannot set "POWER SAVE MODE" to "YES" on the monitor menu.
