OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1 Check reel for correct operation by slowly pulling the hose out. A "clicking" noise will be
heard every half rotation (180° angle) on the drum. The ratchet stopper will be engaged.
At this moment, the hose will not be rewound and it will be stopped.
2 When the user wants to rewind the hose, pull the hose slowly. When the "clicking noise"
occurs, unhand the hose slowly then the hose will be rewound.
3 If user releases the hose suddenly, the hose will be rewound suddenly and it causes
a backlash. This backlash will damage the spring.
4 If the user disassembles the stopper when the reel is tensioned, a backlash occurs.
The backlash will damage the spring.
5 Frequently inspect the hose for damage and wear, and check for swivel joint leakage.
If the leakage occurs, replace or repair the parts.
