-Equipped with a safety device, which turns off the appliance in the
event of overheating. To start it again, remove the plug from the mains
and allow it to cool (approximately 10/20 minutes). Thereafter, plug it
back in and turn it on once again.
The base has an anti-tipping switch which allows the heating fan to
function only when it is positioned correctly (when it is put in place, you
will hear a "click") but it stops the appliance if it tips.
To use the heating fan, follow these steps:
1. Insert the plug in the power socket.
2. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the temperature required.
3. Switch on the appliance by turning the selector knob to the position
of the required function.
4. If you wish the oscillation function, press the oscillation button (
and oscillation (i.e., 90° rotation alternatively right and left).
5. The light (4) turns on and turns off when the appliance reaches the
requested temperature; if the thermostat is set at the maximum level,
the appliance works continuously.
6. To switch off the appliance, switch off the resistance completely, let
only the fan run for about 3 minutes (pos.
(this way it will last longer), then switch off the fan by turning the
knob to "0" (off). Then always remove the plug from the power
socket.
Never leave the appliance connected to the socket if it is not in use,
especially for long periods.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention: before cleaning the fan heater, turn it off, remove the plug
from the outlet and wait for it to cool.
• Periodically check that the air-intake grill is not obstructed by fuzz or
threads.
• Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the body; do not use metal
scouring pads or abrasive products.
• To clean and maintain of the grid, it is possible vacuum cleaner paying
attention not to damage the electrical resistance.
• When the appliance is not being used, cover it and put it in a dry place.
it is a good idea to put it back in its original packaging to protect it
from dust and humidity.
