Before Use

Caution!
• Operate this unit on a firm, flat surface to avoid water leak. Ensure that it is kept upright at all times
(including transport and store).
• Ensure that there is at least 30 cm between the sides of the appliance and any flammable, heating
materials.
• Do not obstruct the air intakes and exhausts.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
• For indoor domestic use only. Not intended for commercial use.
• Keep a minimum distance of 60 cm from wet cells and sinks.
• Do not let any liquid enter the unit. Protect the dehumidifier from water drops and spray. Never place
objects filled with liquid on top of the dehumidifier, e.g. vases.
• Do not use the appliance in locations where paint, petrol or other flammable liquids are used or
stored.
• Do not allow the appliance to fall over when there is water in the bucket.
• The condensed water is not for drinking either for humans or animals. But the water can be used for
watering flowers and plants.
• Do not use bug sprays or other inflammable cleaners on the unit.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Never use the cord of the unit as a carrying strap.
• Always unplug the unit from the mains and wait for at least one hour before carrying out any
maintenance, transport or cleaning of the unit.
• Always switch the unit off and pull the plug out of the socket:
• If you are not using the unit.
• Before you clean the unit.
• Before you assemble the accessories.
• If a fault occurs.
• In the event of a storm.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician or similarly qualified person, to
avoid hazard. Do not use the device with a defective power cord.
• Connect the device only to 220-240 V / 50 Hz sockets.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
