Insert the probe on an angle and gradually
straighten the probe so that it aims down.

OPTION 2. The bottom trim may be loosely
assembled to the appliance to allow a gap for
the wire to feed through.

Liberally spread stove cement (not sup-
plied) along the bottom of depth gauge.

Slide the straightened probe into the hole.

OPTION 1 . This option allows the wire to exit
directly through the bottom trim grill.
