9. Making the electrical connections
Before the machine is connected to the electrical supply, a check should be made
that the voltage and frequency details on the machine correspond to your electri-
cal supply. (See Chapter 5, Technical Data). Changes and adaptions to electrical
connections may be carried out only by qualified personnel.

10. Checks prior to initial start-up

Prior to the initial start-up of the machine and prior to starting production, the fol-
lowing points should be noted:
check the oil level of the machine on the hand-pump and if necessary fill with hy-
draulic oil (H-LP 22). In every instance, the hydraulic oil used should have been
processed to a clean and filtered condition. The oil level should be visible about
10mm in front of the fastening.
Check that all the required connections (electrical connections) have been made
and that the plugs are firmly in place.
If any functional errors occur, the machine should be switched off via the OFF-
button and the power plug withdrawn.
