5 Facilities for Carrying, Fixing,

1. Transport bag: Place the WAP-7D into the front pocket
so that the speaker points outwards. Then the sound is
able to pass through the textile mesh without obstruc-
tion.
2. Belt (G): Run the belt through the lug (g) of the fixing
plate (D). Hook the plate on the rear side of the WAP-
7D into the three holding levers (2). Tie the belt with the
WAP-7D around your waist. For releasing the fixing
plate later, press down the two levers (f) and push the
plate downwards at the same time.
3. Neckband (F): Run the ends of the neckband through
the two lugs (e) of the fixing plate (D) and pull them
through the two loop holders (h). Hook the fixing plate
on the rear side of the WAP-7D into the three locking
levers (2). Put on the neckband with the unit. Adjust the
length of the band in an optimum way by moving the
loop holders. For releasing the fixing plate later, press
down the two levers (f) and push the plate downwards
at the same time.
4. Holding clamp (C): First pull the holding plate (c) out of
the clamp. For this purpose press the unlocking device
(d). Now pull off the protective foil of the adhesive strip

on the holding plate and glue the plate on the top cen-
tre of the rear side of the WAP-7D. Insert the unit with
the glued plate into the clamp until it locks into place.
Tightly fix the clamp to the belt (G) or to another suitable
place. The WAP-7D can be pulled off upwards from the
clamp at any time when the unlocking device (d) is
pressed.
5. The miniature microphone (A) can be hand-held or
fixed at any place with its clip. Connect the microphone
plug to the jack MIC (5). For extension, the 5 m cable (l)
can be inserted.
6. Put on the headband microphone (B) so that the mi-
crophone arm is placed at your left ear (
cline the microphone arm upwards or downwards (cen-
tre of rotation = position b) so that the microphone is
close to your mouth. Connect the microphone plug to
the jack MIC (5). For extension, the 5 m cable (l) can be
inserted.
7. An audio unit with line output (e. g. radio, CD or MP3
player) may be connected to the jack LINE (6). If e. g.
the audio unit is to supply a low background music while
at the same time talking takes place via the microphone,
it must be possible to adjust the volume of the line out-
put of the audio unit.
