WARNING: Never exceed the safeguard of the upper pullout height (last lock-in point on the upper end of the handlebar shaft).
-
The knob for locking the steering rod must always be secured by one of the 3 lock-in points; otherwise the height adjustment is not
properly completed. Using the scooter under such condition is dangerous and therefore not permitted!
-
Make sure the handlebar shaft is always positioned with the logo facing forward towards the direction of riding (the holes for locking
the height positions face backwards in such a case).
-
Before riding the scooter, check all connecting parts and quick-release skewers for proper fixation.
-
To fold the scooter (transportation condition), proceed as follows:
-
Open the quick-release skewer on the handlebar shaft (fig. 6), use your thumb to press the height adjustment knob inwards, and slide
the steering rod into the shaft.
-
If needed, you may then fold the end pieces of the handlebar.
-
To do so, press down the locking knobs; the end pieces can be pulled out from the T section.
-
Finally, secure the grips in the plastic sockets located on the handlebar shaft.
-
Open the quick-release skewer on the right front above the footboard (fig. 2) by pulling the lever. Then raise the black plastic lever in
the center of the folding mechanism and fold the steering rod towards the footboard (platform) until it locks into the intended lower
groove for secure transportation.
-
Close the right quick-release skewer.

Riding instructions

-
Securely step with one foot onto the footboard (platform) of the scooter and with your other foot push off the ground.
-
Perform steering maneuvers at lower speeds first. To improve your turns, slightly shift your body weight towards the desired direction of
riding.
-
To stop, engage the rear brake by stepping on it. Perform braking attempts at lower speeds and in less crowded environments first.
Please note that wet conditions will significantly reduce the braking action, resulting in a considerably longer braking distance.
Warning: The brake can become hot during use. Do not touch after braking.
-
Adult supervision is strongly recommended.

Maintenance and storage

-
Under normal circumstances and if used properly, the wheels and wheel bearings are maintenance-free. You should nevertheless
check the condition of the wheels, the tightness of axles, and the travel of wheel bearings from time to time. To protect from corrosion,
you may lubricate the wheel bearings externally with suitable bearing grease. Pay attention to loose or slack components. If a wheel
or wheel bearing shows wear and tear, it must be replaced. Worn tires are items subject to wear and tear and therefore do not
constitute any grounds for complaint.
-
To replace the wheels, loosen the axle bolts using two Allen wrenches (size 5), and remove the wheel from the axle. Remove the ball
bearing from the wheel (e.g. by pushing it out with a screwdriver). Those can be used again. It is nevertheless recommend replacing
the bearings as well. Install the bearings and the spacer sleeve to the new wheel and use the axle bolts to attach the wheel to the frame
(or wheel folk). Make sure the axle is firmly tightened before using the scooter again.
-
Note: Self-locking nuts.
At this point there might be self-locking nuts. (They can be recognized by a plastic ring inside one of the grooves of the nut.) Please note
the following in that regard:
Once loosened, self-locking nuts must not be used again! The plastic ring inside the nut will wear off when the nut is loosened, thereby
disabling its securing effect. Always replace self-locking nuts by new ones.
-
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents for cleaning the scooter. Use a damp cloth. Let the scooter dry completely after cleaning.
-
Check the product for damage and wear before and after each use.
-
Store the scooter in a dry, safe location protected from the elements in order to prevent damage and injuries.
-
Do not perform any modifications that could compromise the safety!
-
For your own safety, use original spare parts only.
