Installation
-
The scooter is folded during transportation (fig. 1).
-
Open the quick-release skewer located on the right front above the footboard by pulling the lever, causing the transport safety lock to
disengage (fig. 2).
-
Then raise the black plastic lever in the center of the folding mechanism until the locking mechanism disengages. Fold the steering rod
to the front until the locking screw of the quick-release skewer securely clicks into its respective groove at the front (fig. 3).
-
Lock the quick-release skewer on the right (fig. 4). If not tight enough, open the fastener again and tighten the opposite nut for the complete
quick-release skewer to sit more tightly on the folding mechanism. Repeat these steps until the folding mechanism is fixed without play.
-
Remove the grips from the sockets located on the side of the handlebar shaft. Insert both end pieces into the head of the handlebar (T section),
and then use your thumb to press down both knobs in order for the end pieces to slide in smoothly. Turn both the end pieces and the grips until
the two knobs lock into their respective holes (fig. 5). The end pieces are seated properly once they cannot be pulled out anymore.
-
Adjusting the height of the steering rod: Loosen the quick-release skewer on the top of the handlebar shaft by pressing the lever away
from the shaft (fig. 6)
-
The height of the handlebar can be adjusted to 3 different positions. . To do so, pull the steering rod off the shaft until the desired height
is reached and the locking knob clicks into its respective hole (fig. 7).
-
Then close the quick-release skewer by pushing the lever back to the handlebar shaft. If the handlebar is not fully secured at the chosen
position, open the skewer again and tighten the opposite nut for the quick-release skewer to sit more tightly on the shaft. Repeat these
steps until the handlebar shaft is fixed securely without play (fig. 8).
