Power key
• Turns instrument on / off
• Reactivating after tilt alarm
LED
• flashes green :
Levelling active
• lit green :
Instrument is levelled, rotary head turns
• flashes orange :
Tilt alarm (unit disturbed)
Restart with power key
• red :
Instrument out of levelling range (automatic power
off after 2 minutes)
Mode key
Turns off the tilt alarm function
LED
red : Tilt alarm turned off, Instrument levels and starts
rotary head again after disturbance.
LED flashes : Dry or NiCd Batteries nearly flat; Operation
still appr. 30 min
LED flashes fast : Batteries flat, Laser beam and rotary
head turns off; automatic power off after 2 minutes)
