Removing the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not open the battery as there is a danger of a short-circuit; irritant vapours or
caustic liquids may also escape.
■ Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight, heat or fi re as there is a risk of explo-
sion.
This device contains a rechargeable battery, which must be removed prior to
disposal of the used device.
1. Undo the screw on the main unit.
2. Remove the cap on the opening for plugging in the handle rod.

3. Take the two halves of the main unit apart.
4. Remove the battery pack (b) from the device. You may
need to apply a little force to do this.
5. Open the clip (a) on the connecting cable.
6. Dispose of the battery in an environmentally friendly man-
ner (collection points or retailers).
