Before fi rst use
PLEASE NOTE!
■ WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the
packaging material.
1. Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
2. Fully charge up the battery (see the "Charging Up the Battery" chapter).

Charging up the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Risk of short-circuits! Do not insert any conducting objects (e. g. screwdrivers or
similar items) into the charging socket of the main unit.
■ It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you fi rst use the de-
vice in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. If the battery is fully
discharged during use, it must be fully charged up again before it is next used.
3. Disconnect the adapter from the mains power and then from the device. Store it out
of the reach of children.

Brush nozzle is used for vacuuming upholstery and textiles and for
removing dust from delicate objects such as picture frames, lamp
shades, keyboards, books etc.
Crevice nozzle is ideal for places which are hard to get to, such
as corners, crevices or recesses.
Wet nozzle to suck up small quantities of liquids (e. g. spilt mineral
water).
1. First connect the adapter to the socket on the main unit
and then to a properly installed and easily accessible plug
socket. The charging control lamp on the handle of the
main unit will light up.
2. Allow the battery of the device to charge up for approx.
7 – 11 hours on the fi rst charge and then for approx.
6 – 7 hours. The charging control lamp goes out when the
battery is fully charged.
