Removing the rechargeable battery

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not open the battery as there is a danger of a short-circuit; irritant vapours or
caustic liquids may also escape.
■ Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight, heat or fi re as there is a risk of explosion.
This device has an integrated rechargeable battery; it must be removed before
disposing of the old device.
1. Loosen the four screws on the side of the motor unit.
2. Dismantle the side parts.
3. Pull the rechargeable battery and, if necessary, the board in the handle out of the
device.
4. First disconnect the red and then the black connector cable.
5. Dispose of the rechargeable battery in an environmentally-friendly manner.
