2. DUST EXTRACTION CONNECTION
The machine must always be operated with the dust collec-
tion system connected.
Thorough dust collection will remove any foreign body, eli-
minate the risk of breathing dust and is necessary for correct
machine operation.
Dust particles damage the pneumatic elements, dull the bits
and soil the glue.
The pre-milling unit is equipped with a suction hood A (Fig.
2) that is connected to the general dust extraction socket of
the machine. At the same time, this hood acts as a protection
guard for the cutters.
To guarantee a correct extraction, it is necessary to connect
both dust nozzles of the machine (Fig. 2) to an external dust
extraction system with double entry of a diameter of 100 mm
and a minimum suction power of 1800 m
To install it, connect flexible tube B (Fig. 2) with a diameter of
100 mm to collector C (Fig. 2).
Fasten the tube with brackets (not included).
The tube connected to the main dust collection system, must
be positioned in a way to not disturb the operator's move-
ments during work.

3. OPERATION OF THE TUPI UNIT OR PANEL INPUT MI-
LLING UNIT
The machine is factory-set to automatically mill
the board at the entrance onto the edgebander.
If for any reason the machine does not correctly
carry out the sequence of movements descri-
bed below, it must be repaired exclusively by an
authorized technical service.
