TUBE outside heater for aluminium hot tubs- Instruction manual
Installation
screws through the plates. To make sure that the heater is installed
perpendicular to the tub. Measure the distance on both sides
(measure X in the picture) before fixing the screws. This makes sure
that the screws will go through both plates. If you have cover planks
/ drink holder system then the screws are
meant to go through that and the plates on the
tub and the heater. With DIY tubs no cover
planks are supplied, you just drill the screws
through the aluminium plates or use your own
parts.
With the cover planks you screw three screws
on both sides. (picture on the right). For DIY
version just use the top two screws.
After installation the heater will be hanging on
the wall of the tub by the hoses and plates
has an emptying valve and air release valve. You will need separately ordered pipes between
the heater and the tub and an extra set of fixing hoses and clamps. When installing further
away the heater must be a bit lower than the tub so that the natural circulation of heated
water works. Remember to install the emptying valve and air release valve on the heater in
this case. Also build a support for the heater when it is not fixed on the tub. And remember to
empty the heater from its own valve after use.
Notice that the extension pipes should be insulated since otherwise lots of heat will be
dissipated.

The heater is connected to the tub with rubber hoses. It is
advisable to spray silicon spray or other lubricant like soap
inside the rubber hoses to tighten the hose clamps evenly and
to prevent the hoses from wrinkling. First connect the hoses to
the pipes on the tub and add the clamps. The clamps on the tub
side can be tightened at this point.
Next you push the heater pipes inside the hoses and check that
the heater plates go between the tub plates (picture on the left).
Now tighten the clamps on the heater side.
After the hose connection the heater is
fastened with supplied self drilling
The automatic air release valve is to be installed on the top of the
heater inside the ½" thread. The emptying valve is installed into the
1 ½" thread behind the heater. Use good amount of pipe tape when
installing these parts. Tighten with pipe wrench.
